After having followed the various stories and the work of the company in an intimate way, we learn that the show was never performed in 2020.

July 2020, Italy. It has been a month since the restrictions due to the COVID-19 lockdown were relaxed. Four people go about their solitary morning routines. The narrative jumps from person to person, following each story both visually and accompanied by their interviews.

As they prepare to emerge from their isolation, each expresses the concerns and fears felt during the lockdown and describes the feelings and challenges of returning to work.
Everyone arrives in the same place: a theater. It is the first day of rehearsal for a new show and there is a lot of excitement in being together as a company, for the first time since this long hiatus.

But on the other hand, there is a difficulty and a kind of sadness, knowing that you have to keep your distance and that you need to wear masks which makes it even more difficult to convey emotions.
As the days go by, the submission date draws closer and sticking to protocols continues to be a challenge.

The cigarette breaks, the hustle and bustle of the backstage and the hours spent in the dressing room show the other side of the life of the company up to the last rehearsal. Our heroes guide us through the emotions of the last moments of rehearsal.
